P-A SYSTEM: A high quality stereo system with absolute minimum buzz or hum. EV Deltamax or Community 220's used with sub-bass preferred or equivalent. A min. of 2.5KW for a 500 seat venue plus 2 KW per extra 500 seats.
MIXING DESK: A 16 Channel stereo mixer centrally located in the auditorium, with a min. of 2 pre fader post eq aux sends for monitors, and 2 post fade aux sends for effects. Min. quality required is Soundcraft Venue with 4 way sweep eq.
GRAPHIC EQUALISERS & EFFECTS: 2 channels 31-band eq are required for F.O.H., and 1 channel of 31-band per monitor mix (i.e. 2 channels of 31-band if it is a 2 way mix, 4 if it is a 4 way mix). 2 digital reverbs, LEXICON or SPX. A Cassette Deck and a CD Player.
MONITORS: Where a seperate monitor mix is not available, 4 identical wedges, 1x15" with horn, wired in 2 mixes will be required.
MIC STANDS, ETC.: All mic stands should be fully adjustable boom stands. The group will require 6 chairs (without arms) and 6 glasses of water.
LIGHTING: It should be stressed that the better the lighting system the better the overall effect. However a suggested lighting system would be 6 specials covering the 6 main artists and 4 general colour washs in Blue, Red, Magenta and Amber if available.
BACKLINE: A Bass guitar amp. If requested, Piano/Keyboard required: Yamaha PF 120, 88 note Piano, or similar
